Team Climate Resilient Colorado serves place-based educators, interpreters, environmental educators, and conservation non-profits all across the state of Colorado.
This team attended the Earth to Sky Academy in November 2024. Earth to Sky regional teams go through a competitive selection process and are invited to travel to NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center for a week of training in NASA climate science, communication techniques, and Earth to Sky methodology. After completing the Academy, each team offers one or more climate communication courses in their region, while serving as a resource and focal point for their community of place based educators, organizations and students on an ongoing basis.
Team Climate Resilient Colorado is already moving forward towards their first training and has collected valuable data from their community through an extensive needs survey. Utilizing this information the team is looking forward to crafting the agenda for their course in 2026!
