Jenny Wolf is a member of the ETS Idaho regional team. She received her MS in Science Communication from University of Idaho’s College of Natural Resources. In this session, she discussed strategies for Communicating Climate in an Idaho Context. Using the Yale Climate Opinion Maps, she asked participants to explore Idaho’s data, asking: What surprised you about the results? What can you learn about your audiences from these maps? Where can we find common ground? She shared research on communicating with climate skeptics, suggesting that our natural resources are an excellent frame for discussing climate change in Idaho.
