Augie Gabrielli is a Water Education Coordinator for the City of Boise. He received his MS in Environmental Education and Science Communication from the University of Idaho. In this session, he asks, “If a majority of the public believes in climate change, and agrees on the importance of teaching it, why is it so hard to talk about?” He provided definitions for some of the psychological barriers to discussing climate change, and the group brainstormed ways to overcome these barriers.
